New account number is 0608853439-00001 (old account number three 5000 0402 0882). North Shore Gas claims we owe them a past due amount and they are now charging us late fees and threatening to discontinue our service. We continue to pay our budget amount and the past due total keeps getting larger. To confirm that we have paid the past due amount we've furnished copies of cancelled checks in three separate emails, two different hard copy mailings and in two individual faxes. We've initiated three phone calls and have explained the situation over and over again. Each time we've been assured that they will call us back with resolution. Haven't received any return calls to date. I have a timeline and names related to our attempt to get this problem resolved should you need to know. My North Shore Gas account number is three 5000 0642 4650. North Shore Gas has billed me improperly and I have made numerous phone calls for several months to no avail. The wait time is beyond reasonable. The failure to return phone calls is a common practice. Its lies by employees are numerous. Somehow the company has a record of my new address and in the same call I requested a final reading for 5/1/14. It has no record of the call. It sent me a bill with a reading to 5/6/14. It has failed to respond to my calls and requests for a corrected bill to 5/1/14. I faxed it a copy of my final ComEd bill to 5/1/14 and a copy of the title policy face sheet given to the new owners of 625 Hillside Drive, Highland Park, Illinois 60035 which reflects title vested as of 5/1/14 in the Platts. T company is impossible to deal with and lacks any customer good will or ethics.
