Infrastructure in PIET is categorised at department level and Institute level(common infrastructure). There is no place on earth that can proide comforts like your own home, keeping this in mind we at PIET have developed our own hostel so as to provide as much comfort as possible.PIET has its own hostel with 50 rooms and a capacity of 150 occupants.Separate rooms for recreational activities and entertainment like TV Room, Indoor Games like TT etc.The Institute Labs remain open till 9PM so that students desirous of putting extra practical hours can come as per conevenience.

Patiala Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women - PIET Patiala evaluation system is decided and approved by PTU, as per the existing system there is weightage if internal assessment of 40% and external examination conducted by PTU for 60% marks in each subject.For 40% internal assessment the students are assessed on continous basis through.Mid term exams in each semester out of which two best are considered.Assignments at regular interval are given to the students in each subject.Tutorial sheets are given through out the semester for regular evaluation.For subjects having practical component viva voce is conducted as per PTU guidelines by the external examiners.
