I called the FYE store in Auburn, MA on behalf of one of my students and spoke with the manager, Ken. I regrettably informed him of the situation that the student would not be able to make her shift and apologize for the short notice. He grew irate and was verbally demeaning her. I thanked him for his opinion, but informed him I was not willing to tolerate such discussion. I again apologized and expressed hope that this would not be too difficult without an employee. After telling me good day, I assume thinking he was no longer on the phone Ken cursed, saying "F*** YOU". After promptly calling him back I asked him for the contact information of his supervisor, Ken then asked why I was seeking such information and when I informed him that I heard him curse at me, he denied using such language during our phone conversation.
