The centre has the latest software solutions that are widely applied in the management and in the digital area. It also provides a unique login ID and share space with all members of the college. We have a full time high-speed Broadband Internet access and it is shared with Wifi connectivity. The college also has a Center for Excellence in Computing, that helps research in the emerging areas of Computer Science.
KVM College of Engineering and Information Technology - KVMCEIT Alappuzha has a well-equipped Language Lab, one of the few in the State. Students are provided intensive training in the pronunciation and intonation of English language in this state of the art language lab. It has a collection of audio-visual material to help the learners improve their proficiency in English.The library is fully computerised and it operates on an open access system. It is classified by the Dewey Decimal classification scheme and the books are bar coded. We have a collection of 8500 books, 36 national and 36 international journals 550 CDs/ DVDs which are of immense help to the students and faculty members.
There are separate hostels with all amenities for boys and girls in KVM College of Engineering and Information Technology - KVMCEIT Alappuzha. The hostels have ample recreational facilities and the canteens are managed by the students themselves.Recognizing the urgent need to establish a close rapport with industries and business establishments, for fulfilling the needs of placements of students, and for other mutually beneficial activities, a dedicated cell called Institute Industry Interactive Cell has been formed.
The placement function of the cell includes sending out invitations to various organizations, arranging campus interviews and keeping the students informed of their performances.
