Nisarga Education trust was established in the year 2002-2003.Dr.Lingaraju is founder president of Nisarga education trust. He founded Nisarga Institute of Nursing Science – Hassan under Nisarga Education Trust in 2002-2003. The institution is recognized by Indian Nursing Council. The motto of Nisarga Education is to develop and maintain highest standard of nursing practice through quality education.

The hostel has some regulations such as all students shall stay in the hostel and shall be under the direct care supervision of the warden of the hostel. Any student found guilty of ragging will be suspended / dismissed at the discretion of the management. No visitor shall be allowed to see the student without prior permission of the warden. Possessing or administering any narcotic drug, is strictly forbidden. Any student violating these conditions will be summarily rusticated. Students shall strictly adhere to the rules and regulations which may be laid down from time to time by the management.
Nisarga Institute of Nursing Science – Hassan has the college bus for the convenience of the students to travel from their respective hostel to the hospital and to the college campus. Students are eligible for one-month leave annually. This is arranged according to convenience of Hospital and Institutions.
A comprehensive Health programme is available in Nisarga Institute of Nursing Science – Hassan for all students. The preventive health programme includes physical examination, routine laboratory tests and immunizations to maintain immunity. Students undergo a complete checkups on admission and there after every year.
